About CDAC:-The Centre for Development of Advanced Computing (C-DAC) is an Indian autonomous scientific society operating under the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology(MeitY),Government of India.The (C-DAC) is primarily an R&D Organisation involved in the design, development and deployment of advanced Electronics & Information Technology (IT) based solutions.

C-DAC provides various courses in the field of advanced computing and software development.C-DAC organises advanced computing diploma programs through the Advanced Computing Training School (ACTS) located all over India.Admissions to all PG Diploma courses of C-DAC are done through C-DAC's Computerised Common Admission Test (C-CAT).Every year, C-CAT is usually conducted in June (for August admissions) and December (for February admissions).

Who can do CDAC courses:-Anyone can do a CDAC course.The basic eligibility criteria is you should have bachelor degree in any engineering stream or MCA for more details you can check above given link.It doesn't depend from which branch you had done your engineering herein their are various students coming from different stream.CDAC courses are designed in such a way that they teach you from basics to advanced level.It depends on you how much you take from it.Many faculties who were teaching us are from different companies.They teach us what was going on in industry.Various industry sessions were organized for ACTS-Pune students which helped us to know about the current trend in industry which helped us to prepare accordingly.

Reason to opt for CDAC course-

1.If you are not going for ME/Mtech this year then you can opt for this course.If you think you don't have time to prepare for GATE or your GATE exam result was not good enough or you don't want to give 2-yrs time for your higher studies then this could be a good option.

3.If you want to switch your current job profile then you can opt for this course.

4.If you have gap in your education or you have backlogs in your engineering then also its an good option.

Difference between E-DAC vs PG-DAC course: There is no difference between these courses both courses are Full-time courses they have same course content.E-DAC course is course which was conducted online because of covid.

Tips for placement through CDAC:Remember it is important for you to know that as per CDAC-Common Campus Placement Programme (CCPP) guidelines if you get placed in any company during CCPP then you will not be able to sit in any further companies coming in CCPP.It is your decision to choose company as per its job description and role as well as package offered by company.You can optout company call but their is a limit that we can optout for 5-companies and we can get max 30-calls to get placed.So choose wisely.
